Big Baby II BBQ Rig

Big Baby II BBQ Rig

You may have seen many BBQ rigs in your day; upright smokers, stick burners, pig cookers, various tow-behind rigs, but we assure you that you have never seen a rig like Big Baby II BBQ rig.  It is literally a mobile kitchen that has all the bells and whistles of modern technology that makes it super unique.

Big Baby II - The Rig

Lets start by say, this no ordinary BBQ rig. Whatever you think or envision a BBQ rig to be, this is that and so much more. This rig was designed and built with 'Love', the same 'Love' that goes into our cooking. Many times people approach us not only for the food, but to also marvel at our creation. You will find no other BBQ rig like it. Now, lets dive into Big Baby II.

What Powers Big Baby

  • 1 - 12 volt 100ah Battery
  • 2 - 2000w Solar Generators
  • 4 - 100w each flat, flexible solar panels secured on top of the rigs roof/awning. This recharges our solar generators

Electric Roof Awning System

Most Trailers with a roof is built to be stationary and build at a pre-defined height. Our roof/awning system is actually built with pully systems connected to an electric winch that is remotely activated. With a click of a button the roof raises and lowers to a desired height. The awning flaps are drawn in when it is lowered and expands out when it is raised. This is a unique feature in itself and fascinating to watch, it gives that Transformers feel

Booming Sound System

Yes, that is correct, we have a booming sound system built on the rig that is super powerful.
  • 1 - 1000 watt Pyle Amp
  • 1 - 18" Bass Speaker
  • 2 - 9" Subs
  • 2 - Jensen Receiver w/Radio, Usb, HDMI and Bluetooth

46" TV

Yes; again, you heard it correctly. We have a `12volt outdoors TV that's connected to our Jensen receiver. We also have a mobile routers so our guest can watch TV while they wait for their food.

Sink System (Hot and Cold Water)

We have a sink system that meets health code standards; one hand washing sink and a 3 well sink. Water is routed through our Gasland portable tankless hot water heater to provide hot water to our sinks.

On Board Fridge/Freezer

We have a 100 QT 12 volt Fridge/Freezer where we can keep perishable food items or drinks to a desired temparature. This doubles as a freezer also.

Fryer

Fried fish, that's what most folks think about when they see a fryer. We have a large capacity fryer on the rig that's connected to gas that allow us to fry just about anything.

Burners and Griddle

There are two gas burners where you can use pots or skillets for cooking. There is also a flat griddle that can fit on top of the burners so you can cook items that you would normally cook on a griddle (pancake, eggs, etc.) Yes, we have done breakfast as well.

Monstrous Upright Smoker

This is one of the places where the 'love' happens. We take our time when we smoke our meets. Furthermore, just like everything else on our rig, we are attentive to detail and spare nothing when providing our best service. This is a custom made smoker built by on of the best pit-making companies in the world, insulated (2" thick) and sealed to ensure steady even temperatures. Here is the cooking capacity for this smoker:
  • Briskets - 16
  • Racks of Ribs - 30
  • Pork Butts - 24
  • Whole Chickens - 40

Monstrous Grill

Yes, there is more. On the backend of Big Baby is a monstrous grill with two large cook racks. If you are cooking for a large crowd you can cook over 100 hamburgers at once and several hundred hotdogs. This grill can also double as a smoker if additional room is needed.

Additional Features

Apart from the aforementioned features of Big Baby, here are some additions:
  • Electric System - Most of the systems of the rig is powered by 12 volt which is neatly wired throughout.
  • Rig Lighting System - Low wattage solar lighting system throughout the rig for working at night
  • Under carriage Lighting System - Yes, there is an under carriage glow lighting system that gives the rig that 'pimp my ride' look at night. There are a lot of color and synchronization options
  • Propane Gas System - All equipment that needs propane is neatly hosed throughout the rig
  • Branding - The two side awnings are branded with the Jiggling Pig logo and other information
  • Custom Built - We designed our trailer before it was built and employed some of the best metal fabricators in the country who specialized in building BBQ trailers, cookers and smokers to put everything together. We literally had various pieces built in different areas of the country and had them shipped to Charleston, SC where our main fabricators were building the core design of the rig and putting everything together. It took around 6 months to build the rig and it was then transported to us here.
  • Professionalism - We put 'love' in our food and we like to emulate love in our overall appearance, this is why having such a unique rig is important as well.
